St Saviour Chalk Farm

Pilgrimage of Hope

Anthony KnightAnthony Knight, a second-year student at the
Royal College of Music, will play at the Parish
Eucharist at St Saviour on
Sunday 25th October.

Anthony’s musical pilgrimage began in 2022,
when, as a schoolboy in Somerset, he decided
to use his gift for the violin to raise money
for those affected by the war in Ukraine.

After playing in 63 churches across Somerset,
he raised £13,000 for the Disasters Emergency
Committee’s Ukraine appeal.
He subsequently toured 12 European countries
in 12 months.
His Christian faith deepened during a pilgrimage
to Assisi in 2025, an experience he describes as
transforming his life.

His performances are not simply concerts: he invites people to pray,
to bring their sufferings to Christ, and to give thanks for the blessings they have received.

Anthony is now undertaking a Pilgrimage of Hope around London, visiting 62 churches,
with a particular focus on raising money for UNICEF and supporting children
affected by suffering.
He sees the pilgrimage as a way of bringing people together across denominational boundaries, united in Christ.

We are delighted to welcome him to St Saviour.
If you are unable to attend, and would like to contribute to Anthony’s appeal for UNICEF, please get in touch.
